Our edge is that we have an exceptional ability to capture a concept, and then translate it into a workable, logical written document- The Critical Path. This serves as a blueprint for the event. All the way through the planning process Smile Productions is present to act as a liaison between the technical crew, talent and the client. From pre-production meetings to dress rehearsal to cueing and preparing speakers, we make sure that the event runs smoothly, and if it doesn't, we will make sure the audience doesn't notice! Another advantage we have is our close relationship with technical providers in the community. By providing Production Management services, Smile Productions helps to develop the technical specifications of the project, solicits quotes from suppliers and manages the relationship between providers and the client. It is also the Production Managers' role to troubleshoot, in advance, challenges that may occur during set up, running and execution of the event. This allows for the seamless implementation of the client's vision. We have produced hundreds of events over the last fifteen years. From small, intimate workshops for 10 stakeholders to Galas for 1,200 people and full scale theatrical productions for an audience of 6,000.
